Take-back of electrical and electronic equipment
We sell electrical equipment, and therefore, in accordance with Act No. 542/2020 Coll., on end-of-life products, we provide free take-back of used appliances. You don't have to worry about what to do with your old vacuum cleaner — we'll take it off your hands.
One for One
When you buy a new appliance from us, you can hand in an old appliance of a similar type and use for free, in the same number of pieces. If you buy one vacuum cleaner, we will take one old vacuum cleaner from you.
The take-back is not conditional on you having bought the old appliance from us, or on it being of the same brand.
Where to drop off the appliance
The easiest way is to bring it to our pick-up point:

You can bring the old appliance directly when you pick up your order. If we deliver the goods to your address and dropping them off at the pick-up point is not convenient for you, please contact us and we will arrange an individual solution.
How to proceed
Let us know about the take-back in advance — either in the order notes or by email to info@vygruntujeme.cz. We will confirm the procedure and prepare for the handover.
What we can take back
We take back complete end-of-life electrical equipment of a similar type and use to what you purchase from us. Complete means disassembled and without missing essential parts, for example, without a motor.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept incomplete, disassembled, or heavily soiled appliances — such a device is already waste and belongs to a collection yard.
Why electronics do not belong in the bin
End-of-life electrical equipment contains substances that can harm the environment, and also raw materials that can be reused. Therefore, they are collected separately and do not belong in mixed waste. You can identify them by the symbol of a crossed-out bin on the product or packaging.
You can also hand them in at collection yards and take-back points in your municipality.
Recycling fee
The price of each electrical appliance includes a recycling fee, which finances the collection, processing, and recycling of used appliances. Its amount is stated separately on the tax document so that you can see how much of the price is allocated to recycling.
