How to remove mold step by step
1. Prepare the room
Open a window or ensure good ventilation. Remove children and pets from the area. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. For sensitive respiratory tracts, use appropriate protection and avoid leaning over the treated area unnecessarily.
2. Do not dry scrub mold before application
Do not scratch or brush visible mold before spraying. Dry cleaning could disperse particles into the surroundings. First, use the chosen product according to the label.
3. Apply a suitable product
For D02 Stop Bakter, spray the product onto a smaller affected area from a distance of approximately 10 to 15 cm. Let it act for the time indicated on the packaging. Then rinse or dry the surface according to the instructions and the nature of the treated area.
For chlorine-free Dezipower Plus, apply the product to a hard non-porous surface and adhere to the prescribed action time. Surfaces that may come into contact with food should be thoroughly rinsed with potable water after use.
4. Remove residues and let the area dry
After the exposure time, wipe off loose dirt with a disposable cloth or washable tool. Rinse the surface as instructed and dry thoroughly. Immediately dispose of the used cloth or wash it separately according to the material type.
5. Check the result
If traces persist, repeat the procedure only in accordance with the label. Mold deeply ingrained in silicone, porous plaster, or other absorbent material may not be removable by surface cleaning alone. Damaged material may need to be replaced.
Important safety rules
- Never mix chlorine-based products with acidic cleaners, descalers, vinegar, ammonia, or other chemicals. Dangerous gases may be produced.
- Ensure ventilation during work and use protective equipment indicated on the label.
- D02 may bleach less stable colors and is not suitable for some colored metals and polyamide. Always perform a test on a hidden area first.

How to prevent mold from returning
